What goes into our feeds?
Our unique recipes have been specifically formulated using a holistic approach to ensure your working dog is getting the optimum levels of nutrition.
It is important you can trust the food your dog is eating, so Autarky only use the finest quality natural ingredients.
All of our recipes are wheat gluten and soya free, making them hypoallergenic and they also contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
We protect all of our recipes with a natural antioxidant package, which helps ensure that each bowl of Autarky is as fresh and tasty as the day it was packed.
Providing correct nutrition
Autarky has been providing quality nutrition for working dogs for over 13 years.
Protein – we use high quality protein to ensure muscle cell maintenance and the regeneration process are supported.
QLC – as your dog works, excess free radicals are produced through the process of oxidation. Therefore, the QLC blend of additional antioxidants are there to help ‘mop-up’ those free radicals and provide further support to your dog’s own physiological system.
Joint care package – within the two grain free recipes there is a unique joint care package, providing nutrients to support joint health and flexibility.
Prebiotics – Mannan Oligosaccharides (MOS) combined with functional fibres ensure nutritional maintenance of the digestive system.
Essential fatty acids – these play a number of roles including helping to keep your dog’s skin and coat in good condition.
How long does a bag last?
Ensure you purchase the correct size bag for you dog’s weight, sometimes purchasing a bigger bag could be more cost-effective.
For example, depending on the variety, a 12kg bag will last your dog*:
Adult Delicious Chicken, Adult Succulent Salmon, Adult Tantalising Turkey and Adult Tasty White Fish = 36 days.
Adult Mature/Lite Delicious Chicken = 33 days.
Adult Mature/Lite Succulent Salmon = 31 days.
It is important to remember that every dog is an individual, therefore bag longevity may vary depending upon activity level and age.
*Based on an adult dog weighing 25kg fed the full recommended amount.

Hi everyone, my name is Seren and I’m a Border Collie.
I’m four years old and have been doing agility since I was a puppy – apparently I’m amazing!

I’m a picture of health and fitness, exactly the right weight with great energy levels both at training and competitions.

Great product
My dog loves Autarky dog food and due to a sensitive stomach it’s perfect.
Good value food, worth a try
I changed my two bulldogs onto this food as they were previously on a difference salmon based food which was working out expensive. I saw this at the great price and thought Iâd give it a go. They loved it (they really eat anything) however after just one week both dogs started developing terrible tear stains. I persevered thinking they may get used to it and go but they just got worse so I stopped using and changed to a difference brand. Within 10 days I can see the tear stains clearing up so although I recommend trying this food, as it is great value, sadly it didnât suit my dogs.
Senior
This is a must for Senior Dogs. She loves it, clean bowl every time. Doesnât exercise as she used to, Autark does not bloat & make her uncomfortable. No Bad Breath. Sparkle in her eyes & healthy glossy coat. She is a Mastiff/Bulldog cross 11 years old. 10/10

My fur baby is so happy with this food, I don’t know if it’s because it’s a different flavour or just the food change over. He is bouncing around just like a puppy should.

Bought this for the first time after a little bit of research and determining for price, quantity and quality it wasn’t bad at all and we couldn’t get our usual dry food in time, though we still had enough to mix in with this one to change over.Anyway, I’ve got four small crossbreeds with varying tastes but usually aren’t that fussy especially with fish flavoured food.They initially wouldn’t touch this stuff and also wouldn’t eat their other food we mixed in with it and this lasted a couple days of me trying to hand it to them as treats, trying to hand feed it, mixing it with their meat… Nothing.I checked other reviews and saw others have soaked it so I tried that which luckily has worked and saved me giving a whole bag of food away for someone else to try. I’ve not yet noticed any benefits, as it’s only been a few days, but they seem to really enjoy it and I don’t mind them getting extra water in their diet either obviously.Will update this once we’re coming to the end of the bag.

Ho un pastore svizzero ed ha sempre avuto problemi con gli altri tipi di crocchette, ma da quando mangia queste (è già la 2^ volta che le prendo) sta moooolto meglio di pancino, non vomita più, se le pappa con più gusto ed ha molta più energia!
