Having a large dog means having to buy large amounts of food.
So itâs handy for me that I can buy it in 14kg bags and have it delivered to my door, especially when the price is reasonable.
Being an all in one is also important for me as my dog has several digestive issues and letâs just say that a large dog with an upset stomach is never a fun thing to have to deal with at 3:30am.
Luckily dry food seems to keep him settled and since this is a full meal I donât need to worry that heâs missing out on vital things.
I occasionally mix it with meat, if heâs having a good day, however itâs a safe go to for knowing I can leave this down for him and let him eat it at his leisure without it going off or turning rancid in warm weather.
Due to the size of them they are aimed at large breeds as smaller ones may struggle with these. They are probably in the region of a 10 pence piece.
This is also a plus for me because they are large flat biscuits, when I step on them in the dark with bare feet, itâs not like standing on Lego. Ideally Iâd like not to stand on them at all but sadly my hound has yet to master the art of eating with his mouth shut or not walking round the house eating thinking heâs missing something important going on elsewhere. They blend in to our brown kitchen floor and, well, thereâs been several Hail Maryâs in our house to account for the amount of profanity that spews forth from my mouth when I stand on half-eaten dog food.
If these get wet they expand and go soggy, which isnât an issue provided your dog has plenty of water to drink whist eating and also if they get dropped outside, as they wash away in the rain etc. But they are rather unpleasant if stood on with bare feet at 2:30am when going to the fridge as you suddenly jolt wide awake and begin preying that the cold wet thing squelching between your toes is indeed a wet biscuit and not something the cat bought in/up.
Dog loves it
My puppy was already eating Beta puppy so when he became an adult we decided to keep him on Beta but give him the adult large breed instead. He has sensitive skin so it’s always a worry when we change foods but thankfully there was no issues with the adult food. The price is very comparable to other brands in this size of bag.
My dogs love it
Great product, always fed my dogs beta, they finish every last bit. Good mixture of small and large kibble. Hope they donât mess up the Order and it continues to arrive
